Today was a really great day.
First, I fixed a crappy problem at work.
Secondly, I had a nice nap in class.
and last but NOT least... I had an awesome time at AMK Cathay watching PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 4!!!!!! =D

But i'm so busy and stressed my head hurts at the end of every day.

I'm back.
Well, just a short post because i have a CRAPLOAD of homework to catch up on....
Haven't been able to blog much... cuz it's been like, Work, school, home. or Work School Tuition home. or the more rare, Work school dinner home. haha! =)
So.
Just a post to say...
I'M SO DARN GLAD THE ELECTIONS ARE ALMOST OVER!
This year is the first year i've ever given a crap about politics. Sure i hear about it every time.. but honestly, the last time the GE happened, i was....about 16. And we all know I didn't give a crap about much when i was 16. hahaha. Well.. now i do care.
Unfortunately this was forced on me pretty much because facebook and twitter kept getting spammed by both parties.
and well, it's pretty obvious I support the PAP.
Oh dont get me wrong... I complain alot about Singapore...the transport, the dirty foreign talent, the idiots who dont stand up for old people on the MRT, etc..
but I DON'T THINK IT'S THEIR FAULT.
Why would you think it's their fault?
Mas selamat escapes, blame PAP.
Flood, blame PAP.
No money, blame PAP.
Relatives gamble till broke, blame PAP.
Cannot give birth, blame PAP.
Old people money no enough, blame PAP.
COME ON. Take some of the damn blame.
Floods, you THINK the opposition can prevent it from raining is it? Rain gods with powers beyond imagination?

Old people money no enough...Where are their kids?
Did you ever realize that with all this talk about supporting our old people, one day, one fine fine day, we're going to become like Japan where it's not enough that we take care of our own parents, but we have to pay a tax to take care of other people's parents?
I'm not very keen to have that happen.
I will support PAP as long as I believe that they are Singapore's greatest chance of improving.
The opposition should work on building their ranks and training their people... and also the workers' party should just ....vanish... because there's no way in hell there should be Blue Collar workers IN OUR PARLIAMENT.
I respect blue collar workers. They do things i cant do, they build pretty buildings, they have the stamina and strength of tarzan.... but I dont believe they are capable of leading our country, for the simple fact that they are more suited to do things their strength and skill complement.
AND one last thing. People complain about the salaries our ministers are paid....but how else do you want to discourage corruption? And dont tell me that when the opposition gets that same salary, they will give it all to the poor and only take home 5 thousand a month. Trust me, they'll keep it for themselves. =)
The opposition has a long way to go.... i like some of them. I think Nicole Seah is pretty cool... i think Chiam See Tong is very dedicated, and that other guy who is totally adorable too... and i dont like ALL of the PAP candidates [read: Tin peiling and creepy dude]... but I just think sometimes the opposition goes too far in trying to convince people to vote for them. They make very illogical arguments and statements. For them it's all about emotion.
Someone once said, the only young supporters of the PAP are totally brainwashed.
Let me now say, the young supporters of the Opposition just want to be different, and they want emotion, radicalism, and change.
Besides, my grandfather used to hate the PAP... so I grew up hearing evil stories about them. HAHA. But now my grandfather votes for them too, just cuz he believes that the PAP makes mistakes but is also willing to improve.
We all want change... no country is perfect... but you know, Singapore is pretty damn close.
As XiaXue says [i know alot of people think she's a dumb blonde, but hey, asian blondes arent that dumb ;) ].... what kind of change do you want for Singapore, change from 'GOOD' to "EXCELLENT' or from 'GOOD' to 'FUCKED'.?.. With their inexperience and obama-welfare-ish views, I'm convinced that now is not the time for the opposition to practise on us.
But then again, as daddy says, maybe now is the best time for them to try their hand cuz our economy is relatively stable and we can AFFORD for them to screw up.

Oh well.
I'm sooooo thankful tomorrow is friday, cuz that's the day that hopefully everybody shutsup and cools off. hahahah!

PS: another thing, why are opposition supporters so angsty and bitter but PAP supporters are relatively calm and cheerful? Just sayin. I'm disappointed in some of my friends. Even if you support the opposition, isn't there a more OPTIMISTIC way of doin it? =)

and his first reaction was... HEY do Ye Qu!! And I thought HELL NO cuz from what i remembered it was inpossibly hard...
BUT!
I decided to do it..cuz the song brought back a whole ton of memories... =)
