Blood dripping onto dampened pillows,
heartbeat tumultuous like stormy billows
A wolf’s howl slicing through the night,
As the blade glimmers with another man’s plight
The moon providing no comforting glow,
Its figure just like the eye of a crow
Listen, can you hear the rending?
Of a thousand hearts no longer beating?
Be still, can you feel the fearful trembling?
Of a wounded person fighting?
Darkness brings its welcomed anonymity,
cloaking the pain with grimmest of gravity
It suffers not the tiniest light or glimmer,
And as the life thread grows ever slimmer,
She does not resist death’s cold embrace,
A little more than a hint of a smile on her face…
Something random Ducky and I made a few months ago.. when I was feeling sad-ish.. :) Decided to post parts of it on this blog... mainly cuz I haven't updated it much recently. -.-
